WINE TRIP IN NEW ZEALAND – WINE JOURNEY – WINE NOTEBOOK
|
 |
03.10.2008 Auckland & Taupo (North Island), New Zealand. Wine has several and well-known advantages. However, there is one which not everybody has access… Traveling. Thanks to this advantage, we arrived in New Zealand, a very famous country for its extreme sports, thermal areas, and its huge vineyards. Our tour starts 20 km to the west of Auckland, the biggest city of North Island. The chosen place: Matua Valley. In this first stage, we were surprised to see how accessible the vineyard was: having no security measures, and without flaunting land, it looks proudly its reserve vineyards just a few meters from the main entrance. By Jimena Cordovez (Journalist) and Sebastián Pérez-Canto Orellana (Publicist) from New Zealand. |
