Joseph Burnett, American Photographer in Chile visited one of Santiago’s oldest neighborhoods, Concha y Toro. Merely two streets which are easily overlooked by the passer by, they are a myriad of colours and shapes, but did not immediately grab the eye of this photographer. It wasn’t until walking through again and more deliberately that a sideway glance into a backlit shop, the name of an architect high on a façade, and a simple Chilean flag began to inspire these fragmented images. |
